Child Aprons

Aprons have been a basic staple for many years and for many reasons. In the beginning, aprons were designed as a functional wardrobe accessory; they served their purpose in keeping garments clean from dirt and grime and the pockets were handy for carrying utensils and other needed supplies. Aprons have certainly evolved from that time, morphing into more than purely functional items. We can find aprons made of any conceivable textile, with humorous phrases and even a huge variety of child aprons.

Child aprons can serve many purposes. Daycare centers often use child aprons, often called smocks, to protect the children's clothing while painting or doing other art and craft projects.
